Senior Software Engineer - Hybrid - Salary £70K (DOE)

We're currently working with a growing SaaS company based in Oxfordshire that have an exciting job opening for a Senior Software Engineer skilled with C# .NET, Angular, and SQL.

You will be guiding architectural decisions, ensuring the development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions using their core stack (.NET & Angular). This role will be focused on the development of their payroll product, that is soon to be rolled out nationally.

Part of this position will involve driving the adoption and effective use of emerging AI-assisted development tools and AI Software in the development life cycle (e.g., Cursor, v0) to enhance team productivity and innovation.

Essential Experience:

• Proven experienced leading/mentoring software engineering teams in an Agile Environment
• Experience using C# / ASP.NET (Core & Framework)
• Modern JavaScript Frameworks such as Angular (v8+)
• Solid understanding of relational databases - MySQL is preferred.
• Expertise in version control systems such as Git
• Implementing testing strategies (Unite, Integration, E2E)
• Ability to communicate with technical, and non-technical stakeholders

Desired:

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright
• Cloud platforms such as Azure & AWS
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker
• SaaS Industry Experience
