Infrastructure Engineer (NetApp / Fortinet) | £50,000 - £60,000 + Benefits

The Opportunity:

An opportunity has arisen for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a technology organisation delivering secure, enterprise infrastructure platforms. This role focuses on the build and implementation of NetApp storage solutions and Fortinet security infrastructure, ensuring high-performance, resilient platforms that support critical business systems.

Working closely with architecture, cloud, networking, and security teams, you will play a key role in delivering secure infrastructure across on-premise and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, building, and deploying NetApp enterprise storage platforms.
• Implementing and configuring Fortinet security infrastructure, including firewalls and core security services.
• Delivering infrastructure builds aligned with architectural designs, enterprise standards, and security policies.
• Supporting projects including infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and platform improvements.
• Ensuring high availability, resilience, and performance across storage and security platforms.
• Collaborating with architecture, network, cloud, and security teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
• Supporting critical systems through proactive infrastructure engineering and troubleshooting.
• Contributing to automation, configuration consistency, and continuous infrastructure improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with NetApp enterprise storage platforms.
• Strong experience deploying and configuring Fortinet security technologies.
• Experience implementing infrastructure from architectural and technical designs.
• Knowledge of high-availability storage environments, replication, and performance optimisation.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security, resilience, and enterprise configuration standards.
• Experience working across on-premise and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
