Senior/Lead Software Developer

Senior / Lead Software Developer | Glasgow | Hybrid | £60,000 - £70,000 | 4 days per week onsite

I'm working with a growing business investing heavily in its in-house digital platforms, and they're looking to bring in a Senior / Lead Software Developer to play a key role in shaping and scaling their systems.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role:
50% coding | 20% overseeing team members | 30% business engagement & architectural thinking

Tech environment:
JavaScript / TypeScript | React / Vue | Node / Python | REST APIs | Containers | Cloud

You'll be:
* Designing, building and scaling modern web platforms and Salesforce solutions
* Building end-to-end features across web apps and Salesforce, including LWC
* Designing REST API integrations between internal systems
* Owning and overseeing the full software development lifecycle
* Contributing to architecture, CI/CD and engineering standards
* Working closely with C-suite stakeholders to turn real business processes into software
* Supporting and mentoring other developers

What they're looking for:
* Strong full stack engineering experience across modern frameworks
* A generalist developer comfortable working across multiple technologies
* Experience mentoring or overseeing developers in a senior capacity
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
* 3-5+ years experience, ideally operating at a senior level
