Junior Business Analyst

£30,000-£33,000 + benefits | Bradford | Hybrid (2 days office)

We're looking for a Junior Business Analyst to join a collaborative technology team and support the delivery of business and digital change projects.

This role would suit someone at the start of their Business Analysis career who is analytical, organised and confident working with people. You'll work with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand needs, improve processes and help turn ideas into practical technology solutions.

The Role

  • Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and capture clear requirements.
  • Create User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, process documentation and workflows.
  • Confidently support and deliver requirements-gathering workshops with stakeholders and users.
  • Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Review business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support requirements prioritisation and Agile delivery.
  • Work closely with Developers, Testers and other Business Analysts throughout projects.
  • Assist with software testing, including test scenarios and defect reporting.
  • Contribute to Agile meetings, planning sessions and continuous improvement.
  • Identify appropriate opportunities to use AI to improve analysis and documentation.

About You

We're looking for someone with a genuine interest in Business Analysis, technology and process improvement.

You'll ideally have:

  • Good knowledge and understanding of business systems and how they support organisational processes.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Confidence presenting information and facilitating workshops.
  • An analytical and structured approach to problem solving.
  • Good attention to detail and organisation.
  • An understanding of requirements gathering and the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • An interest in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Experience with User Stories, process mapping, software testing, defect tracking or Agile delivery would be advantageous.

A full driving licence and access to a car would be advantageous, particularly where occasional travel to different sites or stakeholder locations is required.
