IT Asset & Procurement Manager

Location: Doncaster, with travel to other UK sites as needed

We're working with a growing, multi-site organisation looking for an IT Asset & Procurement Manager to take ownership of its hardware, software and cloud asset estate.

This is an opportunity to shape how IT assets are tracked, governed and optimised across the business. You'll bring structure to asset and licence management, improve the quality of data in the CMDB, and help the organisation make better decisions around cost, compliance and future investment.

What you'll be doing

• Managing the full lifecycle of IT hardware, software and cloud assets

• Improving asset records, licence data, contracts and CMDB accuracy

• Leading audits, reconciliations and compliance reviews

• Managing IT suppliers and supporting procurement activity

• Identifying opportunities to reduce waste, manage risk and improve utilisation

• Producing reporting that supports budgeting and lifecycle planning

• Building clear processes and controls that teams can follow consistently

What we're looking for

You'll have experience in IT asset management, software asset management or licence management, along with a good understanding of ITSM and CMDB tools. You'll be comfortable working with suppliers, contracts and stakeholders across the business, and able to turn asset data into practical recommendations.

This role would suit someone who enjoys improving a function and taking ownership, rather than simply maintaining an existing asset register.

A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to other sites are required.
