IT Project Manage

Oscar is working with a leading Supply Chain and Omnichannel commerce organization that is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join their team.

As the IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for understanding, analyzing, planning and synthesizing project details, both technical and business aspects, in a clear and meaningful manner; and articulating concisely to all levels of stakeholders. Able to dive into technical details if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Manage small, medium, and large projects across business applications and infrastructure.

  • Initiate projects by understanding business problems and solution goals, defining objectives with stakeholders, and developing a comprehensive project charter that may include multiple phases.

  • Lead development of the project work breakdown structure, oversee requirements creation, and manage scope throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules with dependencies, milestones, and resource assignments, while managing the project budget and addressing variances.

  • Plan and manage testing activities, including coordinating execution and defect management, and occasionally assisting with test case creation.

  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and issues, resolving them promptly and escalating when necessary with recommended solutions.

  • Manage change control processes, including impact analysis and coordination with the Change Control Board (CCB).

  • Plan and execute implementation and user go-live, including implementation planning, training, and stakeholder communications.

  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership when appropriate, while setting and managing expectations.

  • Build and maintain strong business relationships critical to project success.

  • Required Qualifications:

• MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • 7+ years direct work experience in IT project management capacity, including all aspects of project planning and execution.
  • 5+ years of experience with IT project management tools such as Jira and Microsoft Project.
  • Solid knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
  • Experience managing projects within MS Office, Workday, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or other end user applications is required.
  • Project management experience with applications used within HR, Legal, Finance, Sales, Professional Services is highly preferred.
  • Bachelors or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, engineering, business or a related technical or business field.

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Type: 6 month Contract to Hire

Salary: $50-$60/hr (125k salary on conversion + 9% bonus)
