Senior Accountant

What You'll Do

  • Execute core accounting functions across multiple business units in a shared services environment
  • Prepare and review journal entries, invoices, and reconciliations during monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
  • Support consolidated financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and IFRS
  • Analyze financial results, investigate variances, and communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Assist with reporting packages for global leadership and cross-border teams
  • Maintain compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies
  • Support internal control frameworks and compliance initiatives, including SOX and international regulatory requirements (e.g., Korean SOX)
  • Partner with external auditors and assist with audit processes
  • Work within ERP systems to ensure data integrity and process efficiency
  • Collaborate cross-functionally across finance, operations, and international teams
  • Support tax-related processes including filings and reporting schedules
  • Contribute to process improvements and ad hoc projects

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant accounting experience (multi-entity or corporate environment preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and/or IFRS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial systems
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work across global teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience mentoring or collaborating within small, high-performing teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a global or multi-national organization with cross-border reporting requirements
  • Familiarity with Korean SOX (or other international SOX frameworks)
  • Ability to communicate in Korean is a plus, particularly for collaboration with international stakeholders
  • ERP experience (e.g., SAP or similar systems)
  • CPA or equivalent certification
