Technical Consultant

Overview

A growing Acumatica VAR is seeking a Technical Consultant with strong Acumatica expertise to provide advanced technical support, develop reporting solutions, and deliver system enhancements. This role focuses on troubleshooting complex Acumatica issues, creating custom solutions, and helping clients maximise the value of their ERP investment.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior escalation point for complex Acumatica technical issues.
• Design and troubleshoot Generic Inquiries (GIs), reports, and dashboards.
• Develop customisations, automations, and system enhancements within Acumatica.
• Gather client requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Support data extraction, reporting, and analysis initiatives.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
• Collaborate with consultants, developers, and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Document solutions and share knowledge across the wider team.

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of ERP consulting or support experience, with Acumatica experience strongly preferred.
• Proven experience creating and troubleshooting Generic Inquiries (GIs), reports, dashboards, and ERP workflows.
• Strong understanding of SQL, databases, and data analysis.
• Experience delivering technical solutions and customisations within an ERP environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
