We are seeking a talented Robotics Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced robotic systems. You will work on cutting-edge projects involving autonomous systems, manipulation, perception, and integration of hardware and software for real-world applications in [industry - e.g., manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, or defense]. This role offers the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges and bring innovative robotic solutions from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop robotic hardware and software architectures for autonomous mobile robots, manipulators, or specialized systems.
- Implement perception, navigation, and control algorithms using ROS (Robot Operating System), computer vision, and sensor fusion techniques.
- Integrate sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, force/torque) and actuators with embedded systems.
- Write robust software in C++, Python, and other languages for real-time robotic control and simulation.
- Conduct system testing, debugging, and performance optimization in both simulation (Gazebo, Isaac Sim) and physical environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software, and product) to deliver integrated robotic solutions.
- Perform failure mode analysis, risk assessments, and ensure safety/compliance standards are met.
- Document technical designs, code, and test results; support knowledge transfer and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in robotics development (professional or significant project-based).
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Python for robotic applications.
- Experience with ROS/ROS2 and common robotics frameworks.
- Solid understanding of kinematics, dynamics, control theory, and path planning.
- Practical experience with sensors, actuators, and embedded systems (e.g., NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, Arduino).
- Proven ability to take robotic systems from prototype to deployment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with autonomous navigation, SLAM, or computer vision (OpenCV, PCL, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
- Background in machine learning for robotics or reinforcement learning.
- Familiarity with industrial robots (UR, ABB, Fanuc) or mobile platforms.
- Knowledge of safety standards (ISO 10218, ISO/TS 15066) and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with simulation tools and digital twins.
