My First Two Weeks at Oscar: Kyle Williamson

Prior to joining Oscar worked in the retail industry but decided it was time to make a career change due to lack of progression opportunities.

I was immediately captivated by the recruitment industry, and specifically Oscar Technology because of their no glass ceilings approach to career progression and the belief and time that they invest into their trainees.

During my first visit to the Oscar Head Office in Manchester I was hooked by the great positive and motivated attitude that surrounds the building. Everybody seemed so focused and driven. I couldn’t wait to get started.

I knew I had a lot to learn before I could really operate up to the company’s standards, but I never felt lost or ‘out of my depth’ during the training. The training team were fantastic, and even in the office, everybody was really friendly and happy to help should I have needed it.

By my second week I had progressed leaps and bounds through the candidate and sales training. I have now resourced four live roles and already feel like an instrumental part of the contracts team.

I have really enjoyed working in this fast paced environment. There is such a great sense of achievement with every little success in this industry, and I have never worked for a company who strive to encourage your progression and success like they do here.

It was clear from the off that Oscar Tech does more than most to encourage and reward hard work. We are well on track to be going on holiday in a couple of months, paid for by the company!

If you’re looking for a job in Recruitment in Manchester, want fantastic training and the opportunity to work in a driven and friendly environment, I can’t imagine that anywhere would be better than Oscar.
