About the Job

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent with at least 5 years of commercial construction experience and a strong background in Healthcare and K-12 projects. Experience managing projects up to $25M is required. Superintendents work closely with all members of the project team and supervise all craft and subcontractor personnel to ensure safe, high-quality, and efficient execution in the field.

Superintendents will be responsible for the following:

• Oversee, manage, and mentor assistant superintendents and field staff.

• Create and maintain detailed construction schedules; perform regular updates, monitor sequencing, logic ties, and integrate new activities and impacts as needed.

• Coordinate jobsite logistics, site access, safety protocols, and relationships with adjacent facilities-including active school campuses and occupied healthcare spaces.

• Implement and enforce ICRA, ILSM, and other healthcare-specific procedures to protect staff, patients, and visitors during construction.

• Partner with school district personnel to coordinate work around academic calendars, testing schedules, and daily campus operations.

• Lead and promote an injury-free environment and ensure compliance with all OSHA and company safety programs.

• Coordinate subcontractor scopes, resource planning, and daily activities, including integration with any self-perform crews.

• Negotiate and coordinate with authorities having jurisdiction to achieve inspection milestones and project occupancy.

• Foster leadership development among foremen and emerging field talent to build future superintendent capabilities.

• Represent field operations professionally as the primary on-site interface with owners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.

• Maintain accurate daily reports, field documentation, as-built information, and punch-list tracking through project closeout.

Qualifications

• Excellent listening and communication skills.

• Ability to identify, communicate, and resolve complex field issues promptly.

• Strong collaboration skills and effective participation in a team-driven environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or similar).

• Experience with scheduling software such as Primavera, MS Project, or equivalent.

• 5+ years of experience as a commercial construction superintendent, with strong project experience in Healthcare and/or K-12.

• Experience leading projects up to $25M in value.

• OSHA 30 certification preferred; additional healthcare or school-related training a plus.

• A strong work ethic and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.

• Bachelor's degree in construction or a related field is a plus but not required.
