Ful Stack Web Developer | £35,000 - £45,000 | Remote-first | Lancashire HQ (2-3 days onsite per year)

I'm working with an established UK organisation that is investing heavily in its in-house technology capability. The company is currently rebuilding and modernising a suite of internal software platforms, replacing legacy systems and developing new solutions to support core business processes.

They're looking for a Web Software Developer to join a collaborative internal engineering team responsible for building and improving these systems.

This role offers the opportunity to work on business-critical applications used across the organisation, contributing to the development of modern web-based platforms while learning from experienced engineers in the team.

The environment places a strong emphasis on clean code, structured development practices, and quality-focused engineering.

The position is remote-first, with the team meeting onsite in Lancashire approximately 2-3 times per year for planning sessions and collaborative workshops.

What you'll be doing

• Developing modern web applications and internal systems

• Building frontend interfaces and user workflows

• Contributing to backend services and REST APIs

• Working with developers to deliver scalable and maintainable software

• Translating business requirements into practical software solutions

• Contributing to code quality, testing, and documentation

Technology environment

• JavaScript

• Vue.js

• Node.js

• Azure Cloud Services

• MS SQL Server

• Commercial experience with JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks (ideally Vue.js)

• Understanding of structured development practices and software design principles

• Exposure to backend technologies such as Node.js or SQL databases
