Salesforce Architect - Public Sector Solutions (PSS)

We're looking for a Salesforce Architect with deep expertise in Public Sector Solutions (PSS) to design and lead enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations across government and public sector environments.

This role sits at the intersection of architecture, compliance, and delivery, owning end-to-end solution design across complex, multi-system ecosystems. You'll work closely with stakeholders across business and IT to translate policy and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure Salesforce solutions.

Architecture & Solution Design

• Own end-to-end Salesforce architecture across PSS, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and OmniStudio
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable, secure solutions
• Define application, data, and integration architectures
• Produce solution blueprints, reference architectures, and technical design documentation
• Align solutions with enterprise IT strategy and cloud governance frameworks

Public Sector Solutions (PSS)

• Design and deliver solutions across:
  • Case & Complaint Management
  • Licensing, Permits & Inspections (LPI)
  • Grants Management
  • Benefits & Eligibility
  • Citizen Services & Digital Portals
• Translate legislation and policy into functional Salesforce capabilities

Platform Leadership

• Define best practices, design patterns, and development standards
• Lead configuration and customization across:
  • OmniStudio (FlexCards, DataRaptors, Integration Procedures)
  • Flows (Screen, Auto-launched, Scheduled)
  • Apex, LWC, SOQL (where required)
• Oversee Experience Cloud portals for citizens, partners, and internal users
• Drive performance optimization and reduce technical debt

Security, Compliance & Governance

• Design robust security models (role hierarchy, sharing, permission sets)
• Ensure compliance with:
  • FedRAMP, SOC 2, GDPR/CCPA, and state/federal regulations
• Implement SSO, MFA, encryption, audit logging, and identity management
• Define release governance across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production

Integration & Data Architecture

• Architect integrations with:
  • ERP & financial systems
  • Identity & access management platforms
  • Legacy government systems
  • Document management & payment solutions
• Define API strategies (REST, SOAP, Platform Events, MuleSoft)
• Lead data migration, data quality, and master data governance

What We're Looking For

Core Experience

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect in public sector environments
• Deep expertise in Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS)
• Strong experience with Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and OmniStudio
• Track record delivering enterprise-scale, compliance-driven solutions

Technical Expertise

• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, limits, and performance tuning
• Experience with OmniStudio, Flows, Apex, and LWC
• Deep knowledge of integration patterns and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft)
• Experience designing secure, scalable, multi-system environments

Nice to Have

• Salesforce certifications (CTA, Application/System Architect, OmniStudio, etc.)
• Experience within state, federal, or local government programs
• Background in consulting or system integration environments
