Automation Engineer | 6 Month Contract | Glasgow | £500-600 p/day
We're looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join a major financial client on a contract basis. This role focuses on the development side of automation, building robust frameworks and tooling that streamline post-code release processes and enhance software delivery.
Location: Glasgow (5 days onsite)
Contract: 6 Months (IIR35)
Rate: £500-600 p/day
Start date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain automation solutions in Java & Spring Boot
Focus on post-release automation to improve deployment and delivery
Collaborate closely with developers and testers to optimise release processes
Ensure frameworks are scalable, maintainable, and performant
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on coding experience in Java (essential)
Proficiency with Spring Boot
Solid background in automation within software engineering environments
Ability to develop tools that support and improve release cycles
Strong problem-solving mindset and collaboration skills
- Experience in financial services is essential
