    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced NETA Field Service Technician for a full-time, onsite role in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will perform electrical testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting on medium and high-voltage systems while ensuring compliance with industry and safety standards.

    You'll work closely with clients and field teams to support commissioning, startup, and maintenance projects across industrial, utility, and renewable sectors.


    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform testing, inspection, and maintenance of electrical power systems, including breakers, transformers, relays, and switchgear.

    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues to ensure operational reliability.

    • Conduct acceptance and maintenance testing using industry-standard test sets (Doble, Omicron, Megger, etc.).

    • Ensure compliance with NETA, OSHA, and NFPA standards.

    • Collaborate with engineering and field teams to deliver safe, high-quality results.

    • Provide detailed documentation and reporting of test data and findings.


    Qualifications

    • NETA Certification (Required or in progress).

    • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical testing or field service work.

    • Strong understanding of power systems and high-voltage apparatus.

    • Proficiency in test equipment and interpreting test results.

    • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

    • Ability to travel regionally as needed.
