DataCenter Technician | Tel Aviv Israel (5 days a week) | 1 year contract | 900 ILS p/day
Location: Tel Aviv, 5 days a week
Duration: 6 months (possibility of extension)
Rate: 900 - 1000 ILS p/day
We're looking for a DataCenter Technician to support the operations of our client's datacenter environments.
Responsibilities:
- Install, relocate, and decommission servers, switches, and related hardware.
- Diagnose hardware issues and handle repairs, replacements (RMAs).
- Monitor alerts from power, environment, and infrastructure systems.
- Perform regular checks on HVAC, cabling, fire suppression, and power systems.
- Coordinate maintenance and deployments with IT and facilities teams.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records using asset tools.
- Perform cabling tasks: fiber/copper patching, labeling, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with remote hands tasks and basic system setups.
- Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and escalation procedures.
- Log activities and incidents accurately in ticketing systems.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years in a data center, NOC, or infrastructure support role.
- Basic hardware knowledge (servers, networking, storage).
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux and command-line basics.
- Experience with rack/stack and power/cooling best practices.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and use hand tools.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Open to 24/7 shifts, weekends, and rotating schedules.
