Location: Midlands - Either: Derby / Nottingham / Chesterfield or surrounding areas
Employment Type: Full-time 4 days on site
Salary: Up to £40,000 basic + commission/bonus + potential shareholding

About the Company

An established and growing technology solutions business specialising in Managed Print Services and document solutions is expanding into the Midlands.

They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager from the Managed Print, photocopier or related technology sector to help establish and grow a new Midlands operation.

The Role

This is an opportunity to build a new market and help establish a regional office, rather than simply inherit an existing territory.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing new business across the Midlands.
• Building and managing a strong sales pipeline.
• Utilising your existing industry network and customer relationships.
• Selling Managed Print, photocopier and associated technology solutions.
• Managing the full sales process from prospecting through to close.
• Building long-term relationships with customers and decision-makers.
• Helping shape and develop the new Midlands operation.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5-10+ years' experience in Managed Print, photocopiers, document solutions or a related sector.
• A proven B2B sales and business development track record.
• An established network / "black book" of industry contacts.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
• The confidence to work independently and develop a new territory.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and the desire to build something of your own.

The Opportunity

The business is looking for someone who wants genuine ownership of their market and the opportunity to help build a new operation from the ground up.

The new office is expected to be established around the successful candidate's location, with Derby, Nottingham, Chesterfield and surrounding areas all potentially suitable.

• Up to £40,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
