Estimator -Tampa

A long standing client of ours are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in stucco and exterior façade systems to support a growing pipeline of high-end residential, multi-family, hospitality, and commercial projects.

This role is critical to the preconstruction process, responsible for developing accurate, competitive estimates and supporting bid strategy across complex exterior packages. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and a strong commercial mindset, with the ability to manage multiple bids while maintaining attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for stucco and façade packages, including EIFS, plaster, lath, waterproofing, and related exterior systems
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs from drawings, specs, and bid documents
• Solicit, qualify, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing (materials, scaffolding, labor, etc.)
• Analyze project scope, identify gaps, and mitigate risk in pricing
• Build and submit competitive bid proposals aligned with project timelines
• Collaborate closely with project managers, superintendents, and leadership during preconstruction
• Identify value engineering opportunities without compromising quality or design intent
• Maintain and grow relationships with GCs, developers, and key vendors
• Support seamless handover to operations teams post-award

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience within stucco, EIFS, or façade/exterior systems
• Strong understanding of exterior building envelope systems and installation methods
• Proven ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, elevations, and specifications
• Experience with take-off and estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff)
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to price competitively while protecting margin
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience working for a stucco or façade subcontractor
• Exposure to high-end residential, hospitality, or multi-family construction
• Knowledge of waterproofing systems and building envelope performance
• Existing relationships with general contractors and suppliers in the local market
