Senior Project Manager - Healthcare & Higher Education
Location: Dallas, TX

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale construction projects in the healthcare and higher education sectors throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth region. This role is ideal for a results-driven leader with a background in complex commercial construction and a track record of delivering high-quality projects valued at $50 million and above.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Build and lead high-performing project teams through supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
Conduct regular feedback and performance reviews for project staff.
Manage owner, architect, subcontractor, and vendor relationships.
Administer owner and subcontractor contracts in accordance with company procedures.
Oversee development, updates, and execution of the master project schedule.
Monitor project budget, financial reporting, and cost controls to ensure alignment with forecasts.
Ensure strict adherence to QA/QC protocols and manage project quality control processes.
Direct and support field operations and engineering procedures.
Enforce safety protocols and compliance in coordination with the safety team.
Collaborate with accounting to manage the pay application process and maintain payment timelines.
Keep executive management informed of project status through regular review meetings.
Lead adoption and integration of project technologies, including BIM, Lean, and other digital tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
8 years of project management experience in commercial construction.
Proven success managing large-scale projects ($50M ) in healthcare and/or higher education environments.
Deep understanding of construction methods, project scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
Ability to manage multiple subcontractors, trade partners, and stakeholders on active job sites.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and construction management software (e.g., Procore, P6, Bluebeam).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Familiarity with lean construction principles and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a plus.
OSHA certification and first aid training preferred.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Job site presence required; may involve exposure to construction equipment, loud noise, heights, and changing weather.
Ability to navigate stairs, ladders, and active construction areas.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
