Position Summary
The Wastewater Superintendent is responsible for the leadership, direction, and management of all operations, maintenance, and administrative activities related to the wastewater treatment plant(s), collection systems, and related infrastructure. This position ensures reliable and compliant wastewater treatment, effective resource management, and adherence to local, state, and federal environmental regulations. The Superintendent plays a critical role in protecting public health, environmental quality, and operational efficiency.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee all aspects of wastewater treatment and collection system operations
- Supervise and mentor operators and maintenance staff
- Ensure compliance with state and federal environmental regulations
- Manage budgets, maintenance programs, and capital projects
