Media Director (Individual Contributor) | Location: London (3 days per week onsite) | £75,000 base + commission

The Role

This is a senior individual contributor position with full responsibility for driving commercial revenue across a portfolio of media and event products.

The role is entirely focused on personal billings and revenue generation, with no direct line management responsibilities. It is suited to a commercially driven professional who excels in enterprise sales and closing high-value, multi-channel deals.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Growth

  • Personally drive revenue across sponsorship, advertising, and content partnerships

  • Build, manage, and convert a pipeline of enterprise clients

  • Develop integrated, multi-channel commercial solutions

  • Lead negotiations and close high-value contracts with senior stakeholders

Client Relationships

  • Act as the primary commercial contact for key accounts

  • Build and maintain long-term, strategic partnerships

  • Deliver a high-quality client experience to drive repeat business

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams to align commercial activity with delivery

  • Provide market insight to support ongoing commercial strategy

Performance Management

  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual revenue targets

  • Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting

  • Report on campaign performance and ROI

Candidate Profile

  • Proven individual contributor with a strong revenue track record

  • Comfortable owning the full sales cycle from prospecting to close

  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers

  • Experienced in complex, multi-stakeholder deal environments

  • Thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven setting

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Background in B2B media, events, or partnership sales

  • Demonstrated success in high-value deal closing

  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills

  • Experience managing pipelines and using CRM systems
