Full Stack Developer | Lancashire (Hybrid | £40,000 - £60,000 DOE + Benefits | Permanent

I'm currently working with an established Lancashire-based business that is continuing to invest in its in-house software development team.

They're looking to hire two Full Stack JavaScript Developers who will help design, build and maintain the internal platforms, tools and CRM-style systems that support the day-to-day operations of the company.

Rather than working on public-facing websites or client projects, the team focuses on building internal software solutions used across the organisation, meaning the work you do will have a direct impact on how the business operates.

The Role

You'll be joining a collaborative internal development team responsible for maintaining and improving the systems that support multiple departments across the business.

The team develops and supports a range of internal platforms designed to streamline workflows, manage data and improve operational efficiency.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing frontend applications using JavaScript and Vue.js

• Building and maintaining backend services using Node.js

• Developing and improving internal CRM-style platforms and operational systems

• Working with Microsoft SQL Server to manage and structure business data

• Supporting systems hosted within Azure cloud services

• Designing and consuming REST APIs

• Writing clean, maintainable code and contributing to testing and documentation

• Working with internal teams to understand requirements and deliver practical technical solutions

Tech Environment

The current environment includes:

• JavaScript

• Vue.js

• Node.js

• Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL)

• Azure Cloud Services

• Git / version control

What They're Looking For

• Strong software development skills with JavaScript and Vue.js

• Understanding of structured development practices and software design patterns

• Exposure to server-side technologies such as Node.js or MSSQL (beneficial but not essential)

• Experience working with data-driven applications and SQL databases

• Familiarity with test-driven development

• Good code quality, documentation and version control practices

• Strong problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn
