Firmware & Electronic Design Engineer (STM32 / Firmware / Embedded Systems)

Are you ready to get hands-on with innovative medical technology?

We're looking for a Firmware & Electronic Design Engineer to join our R&D team in East London, developing next-generation medical devices that combine engineering precision with real-world healthcare impact.

What you'll be working on:

• Designing and developing embedded control systems for medical instruments (STM32).

• Creating firmware using STM32CubeIDE & FreeRTOS for real-time control and data acquisition.

• Building prototypes, integrating hardware and software components, and supporting system validation.

• Ensuring compliance with EMC, CE/UKCA, and medical device regulatory standards.

• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, maintaining clear documentation through version control.

What we're looking for:

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or similar discipline.

• Solid experience in embedded systems and firmware development (C/C++).

• Familiarity with real-time operating systems, debugging tools, and hardware interfaces.

• Desirable - Understanding of regulatory requirements for medical device design and testing
