Our client is a nationwide leader in their industry, delivering innovative signage and branding solutions to businesses across the UK.
As part of their ambitious growth plans, they are looking to appoint a high-performing Sales Manager who can not only drive significant new business revenue but also become the foundation of a future sales function. They're looking for someone who loves the thrill of winning new business, isn't afraid to pick up the phone, get out in the field, open doors, and create opportunities from scratch.
This is a hands-on sales role with a strong focus on business development and revenue generation.
You'll be responsible for:
Identifying and securing new business opportunities nationwide
Building and managing a robust sales pipeline
Prospecting through cold calling, networking, referrals, and face-to-face meetings
Developing relationships with key decision-makers across multiple sectors
Managing the sales process from initial contact through to close
Working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
Contributing ideas and strategy to support the future growth of the sales function
Helping shape what a high-performing sales team looks like as the business scales
We're looking for someone with the ambition and drive to become a key commercial leader within the business.
You'll have:
A proven track record of consistently winning new business
Experience generating opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship building
The confidence to engage decision-makers at all levels
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills
A resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven approach
The ability to work independently and take ownership of results
Natural leadership qualities and an interest in mentoring or developing others as the team grows
Experience within static signage, digital signage, visual communications, large-format print, branding, or a related sector
Experience selling into sectors such as retail, construction, property, hospitality, or corporate environments
Previous experience helping to build, lead, or scale a sales team
Up to £50,000 basic salary
Uncapped commission structure
Hybrid working (1 day per week in the Chester office)
