London, Manchester & Edinburgh | Hybrid Working | £45,000-£65,000 + Bonus
We're working with a growing network of businesses across the fintech and financial services sectors who are looking to strengthen their commercial and client-facing teams.
As an Account Manager, you'll take ownership of an established portfolio of clients, developing long-term relationships, identifying opportunities for growth and ensuring customers continue to receive value from the products and services they use.
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious, commercially driven environment where building relationships is just as important as delivering results. You'll have the autonomy to manage your accounts, influence customer strategy and play an important role in driving revenue, retention and overall business growth.
We're interested in speaking with commercially minded professionals who enjoy working with existing customers, understand the importance of relationship management and are motivated by growing accounts over time.
Take ownership of an existing portfolio of business accounts, developing relationships and maximising long-term account value.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers and senior contacts across your client base.
Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling, cross-selling, renewals and the introduction of additional products or services.
Proactively engage with customers to understand their business objectives, challenges and evolving requirements.
Manage the full account lifecycle, from onboarding and relationship development through to retention and renewal.
Work collaboratively with internal teams across sales, product, operations and customer support to deliver a positive client experience.
Monitor account performance, identify potential risks and develop strategies to improve customer retention and satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of account activity, sales pipelines, forecasts and commercial performance.
Consistently work towards and exceed agreed revenue, retention and customer growth targets.
2-4 years' experience in Account Management, Client Success, Relationship Management, Business Development or a similar commercial role.
Experience managing existing customer relationships and identifying opportunities to generate additional revenue.
A proven ability to build credibility with clients, understand their requirements and develop long-term commercial relationships.
Confidence engaging with stakeholders at different levels, including senior decision-makers.
A commercially minded approach, with an understanding of revenue targets, account growth and customer retention.
Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
The ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities within a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Sector experience: Experience within fintech, financial services, payments, banking, technology or B2B SaaS would be advantageous. However, we're equally interested in strong account management professionals from other B2B environments who can demonstrate the right commercial experience.
Competitive base salary of £45,000-£65,000, depending on experience.
Additional bonus or commission structure, linked to individual and/or business performance.
Hybrid working arrangements, with opportunities across London, Manchester and Edinburgh.
The opportunity to join established and high-growth businesses operating within exciting commercial markets.
Clear opportunities for professional development and progression into Senior Account Manager, Key Account Manager and leadership positions.
A varied role offering genuine ownership, autonomy and the opportunity to make a measurable impact on business growth.
