A growing technology consultancy is hiring a Project Manager to own client engagements from discovery through to delivery. You'll sit between business stakeholders and development teams, running workshops, shaping plans, managing risk and making sure software and digital transformation projects land on time and in scope. The role is hybrid, with three days a week in the Manchester office, and sits in a business with clear progression as it continues to expand.

THE ROLE
You'll lead client engagements end-to-end, acting as the key point of contact throughout the project lifecycle and translating complex requirements into structured delivery plans.
* Take ownership of projects from discovery through to successful delivery.
* Work closely with clients, software developers and technical stakeholders.
* Ensure solutions are delivered on time, within scope and aligned to business objectives.
* Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders in a highly visible role.
* Work across a variety of software development and digital transformation projects.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
* Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings.
* Gather and document requirements, and turn them into structured project plans.
* Define project plans, timelines, dependencies and budgets.
* Identify and manage project risks.
* Coordinate delivery teams and drive successful project outcomes.
* Promote best-practice delivery processes across client engagements.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
* Minimum two years' proven experience managing software or technical projects end-to-end.
* Experience working closely with software development teams and technical stakeholders.
* Experience running workshops, stakeholder meetings and project planning sessions.
* Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
* Ability to translate business requirements into structured project plans and deliverables.
* Experience managing project timelines, risks, dependencies and budgets.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

NICE TO HAVE
* Experience delivering projects using Agile, Scrum or other delivery methodologies.
* Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and modern software environments.
* Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or Trello.
* Exposure to business analysis, process improvement or digital transformation initiatives.
* Experience within regulated industries such as financial services, professional services or environmental sectors.
* Relevant project management certifications (PRINCE2, AgilePM, Scrum Master, PMP or similar).
