Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent with a strong background in industrial construction and proven success managing large union labor crews. The ideal candidate will bring 10 years of industrial experience, a track record of delivering complex projects safely and on budget, and at least one combined cycle power plant project under their belt.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise large-scale industrial electrical construction activities, ensuring all work is performed to safety, quality, and schedule requirements
Manage and hold accountable 50 union craft workers on site
Develop and maintain project schedules, including manpower loading for large industrial projects
Oversee budgets, monitor productivity, and implement corrective measures as needed to meet cost and schedule targets
Plan and coordinate EPC activities, including power centers, cable management systems, terminations, work packages, and work planning
Ensure compliance with all LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures and site safety requirements
Collaborate with project management, engineering, and client representatives to resolve issues and ensure seamless execution
Support the self-performance of centerline work and manage subcontractor activities as required
Utilize knowledge of Mitsubishi O&M equipment to ensure proper installation and commissioning standards
Drive team performance through clear communication, accountability, and mentoring
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of industrial construction experience in the electrical field
Experience managing large union labor crews (50 direct reports)
Strong background in budgets, scheduling, and manpower planning for large industrial projects
Hands-on experience with EPC power centers, cable management systems, terminations, work packages, and work planning
Solid understanding of LOTO procedures and industrial safety compliance
Preferred: At least one combined cycle power plant project (approx. 1.5 years)
Proven ability to lead high-performing teams on multi-million-dollar projects
