    Job Description: Technical Service Engineer

    We are seeking a Technical Service Engineer to support projects across the fuel specialties, petrochemical, and oilfield sectors. This role combines technical expertise, customer support, and hands-on fieldwork to ensure successful delivery of solutions to our clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support technical service projects by collecting and analyzing data to meet business needs in a timely manner.

    • Conduct site surveys and audits related to storage, dosing, and application best practices, ensuring compliance with product stewardship guidelines.

    • Participate in engineering activities including design philosophy, preparation of technical enquiries, reviewing supplier proposals, and contributing to project management.

    • Perform installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of additive injection systems and related equipment.

    • Manage spare parts, equipment, and scheduling, including preparation of shipping documentation.

    • Provide technical support to sales teams and customers for day-to-day engineering-related queries.

    • Process trial data, contribute to trial reports, and support performance testing in the field.

    • Carry out risk assessments and ensure work is performed in accordance with local standards.

    • Undertake field emissions and additive performance testing using standard methods.

    • Perform laboratory-based material compatibility assessments when required.

    • Collaborate with engineering teams across regions to share knowledge and maintain a strong team culture.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with dosing system suppliers to ensure optimal support and commercial benefits.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Degree or equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related).

    • Strong knowledge of industry standards and technical documentation.

    • Experience with AutoCAD and technical drawings.

    • Proven ability to install, commission, and maintain equipment in the field.

    • Demonstrated hands-on field experience in site surveys, audits, and commissioning.

    • Strong communication skills with the ability to support internal teams and customers.

    • Willingness to travel and work at customer sites as needed.
