    Resource Coordinator - Vendor Surveillance

    Overview

    A growing organization in the energy and pipeline sector is seeking a Construction Management Resource Coordinator to support vendor surveillance and inspection programs. This role focuses on coordinating construction management and inspection resources, reviewing inspection documentation, and ensuring vendors meet compliance and quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication, organizational skills, and technical knowledge of inspection processes.


    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate delivery of Construction Management & Inspection resources for multiple project programs.

    • Monitor vendors to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.

    • Review Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to ensure alignment with project specifications, collaborating with engineering and quality teams as needed.

    • Distribute final document packages, including inspection and turnover documentation.

    • Coordinate inspection-related RFIs and NCRs, determining resolution paths based on risk.

    • Review inspection reports, welding procedures, and material test reports (MTRs), escalating issues when appropriate.

    • Support development of inspection checklists, templates, and other technical requirements.

    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including identifying trends in vendor performance.

    • Track KPIs and provide regular reporting on vendor and project performance.

    • Act as a key communication link between engineering, quality, supply chain, and project stakeholders.


    Minimum Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.

    • 2-4 years of experience in business analysis, vendor surveillance, project coordination, or construction management.

    • Strong knowledge of inspection practices, pipeline/facility processes, or shop surveillance.

    • Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

    • Comfortable with public speaking and stakeholder engagement.

    • Military service may substitute for industry experience (relevant MOS).


    Preferred Qualifications

    • Associate's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related).

    • API 510 certification or background in Construction Management.

    • Ability to review inspection documentation such as ITPs, welding procedures, and quality records.

    • Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ASTM, ISO 9001).

    • Field experience in operational or construction environments.
