IT Infrastructure Engineer - Server / VMware / SAN - (DV CLEARED)

We're looking for a hands‑on IT Infrastructure Specialist to design, build, and integrate enterprise‑grade on‑premise environments. You'll play a key role in developing secure, efficient, and scalable infrastructure solutions-working across a diverse tech stack and leading delivery from concept to completion.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and deploy Windows Server and Desktop environments
• Deliver OS builds and automation using MDT and SCCM
• Lead Active Directory and domain migration projects for modernisation and uplift
• Define, implement, and troubleshoot Group Policy configurations
• Manage SAN storage implementation, configuration, and data migration
• Deploy and maintain VMware infrastructure, ensuring performance and resilience
• Integrate with enterprise monitoring, patch management, and antivirus platforms
• Apply hardened build standards supported by vulnerability and compliance scanning
• Contribute to threat remediation and mitigation efforts
• Produce high‑ and low‑level design documentation and detailed build guides

You'll Be Involved In

• Executing against the technical roadmap and project delivery plan
• Building and deploying server and client OS images within virtual environments
• Managing desktop and server OS upgrades and hypervisor uplifts
• Performing Active Directory and Group Policy updates and change testing
• Driving SAN storage refresh and replacement projects
