A large consultancy we are working with are hiring for a data center operations manager in the UK to join their large end client in Norway for a short term contract (6 weeks). Some expenses for travel will be covered, and we are offering a daily rate of £600 p/d.

Key Responsibilities:

• Look after day to day data center operations, ensuring effective reliability, performance and uptime
• Supervise engineers during instillations and replacements
• Be the main point of contact for any on site issues
• Enforce safety standards and operational procedures
• Monitor the data center's space utilisation, power, cooling and capacity
• Manage contractors on site
• Complete accurate documentation of activities and configurations
