The Role

A well-established software company is looking for a Software Developer to join its close-knit development team.

You'll work across a range of existing and new systems, with a strong focus on C#, .NET, WPF and SQL. The role combines new development with maintaining and improving existing applications, troubleshooting, and supporting customer migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software using C# / .NET, WPF and SQL
• Work across both desktop and web-based applications
• Build new functionality and enhance existing systems
• Support data migration from legacy SQL databases
• Investigate and resolve bugs and technical issues
• Work closely with the wider business to understand requirements and translate them into effective solutions
• Maintain code quality through testing, documentation and version control
• Contribute ideas around new technologies and improvements

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years' commercial C# / .NET experience
• Strong WPF experience
• Strong SQL skills
• Good understanding of LINQ
• Experience working with existing/legacy applications
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently

Desirable: WCF, ASP, SQL Server, data migration or experience within a regulated/security-conscious environment.
