Overview
A large professional services organization is seeking a Financial Applications Analyst to support enterprise timekeeping and financial systems during a peak workload period. This role focuses on operational support, compliance, process documentation, and minor system enhancements related to timekeeping and financial applications.
Provide day-to-day support for enterprise timekeeping systems
Manage timekeeping requests and shared inbox support
Review and audit timesheets for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance
Process assignment changes (transfers, terminations) to ensure accurate timesheet completion
Grant and manage timesheet approval authorizations
Create and maintain annual holiday calendars
Monitor system integrations in and out of the timekeeping platform
Support craft labor interfacing and related deliverables
Handle basic timesheet revisions in partnership with internal support teams
Complete ad hoc reporting requests from business partners
Identify system issues and coordinate resolution with appropriate teams
Gather requirements for approved minor system enhancements
Participate in testing, documentation, and implementation of system changes
Research, document, and support minor change requests
Update and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Maintain user documentation and SharePoint content
Provide functional support to end users, including reconciliation and module-specific support
Process approved system security requests
Ensure user adherence to required procedures and policies
Audit compliance with timekeeping policies
Partner with cross-functional teams to address compliance gaps
Serve as a subject matter resource with technical system knowledge
Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong Microsoft Office proficiency
Knowledge of financial processes
Experience with financial or timekeeping information systems
Strong organization and planning abilities
Clear written communication skills
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to manage ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
Strong business acumen and peer collaboration skills
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
OR equivalent professional experience
Typically 2+ years of related experience
Process improvement certification preferred
Ability to complete standard pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include background checks and drug screening, in compliance with applicable laws
