Our client is seeking an experienced ERP System Administrator to lead the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of their Epicor ERP system within a manufacturing environment.

This individual will play a critical role in supporting, developing, and optimizing Epicor (E10 / Kinetic), working closely with IT leadership and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, efficient, and reliable ERP solutions.

This is a highly visible position requiring strong technical expertise, project ownership, and the ability to support cross-functional teams across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support the Epicor ERP system, including modifications, updates, and new releases

  • Act as the primary point of contact for ERP users, troubleshooting system and process issues

  • Diagnose, resolve, and prevent ERP-related technical issues

  • Collaborate with business users and process owners to analyze, develop, and improve system functionality and workflows

  • Manage data conversions, SQL databases, reporting, and system integrations

  • Monitor system performance and implement improvements and optimizations

  • Support system monitoring tools and ensure timely response to alerts and issues

  • Assist in replacing manual spreadsheets and legacy processes with ERP-driven solutions

  • Manage ERP disaster recovery and business continuity planning, including regular testing

  • Administer system security, including user setup, permissions, and access controls

  • Provide user support, training, and guidance across the organization

Qualifications

  • 5-8 years of Epicor ERP support and administration experience

  • Experience supporting Epicor in a manufacturing environment (E10 and/or Kinetic)

  • Strong SQL skills, including query writing and reporting

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Epicor database structure

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Demonstrated project management capability

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams
