Regional / Multi-Site Controller - Manufacturing (Private Company)

We are working with a well-established privately held manufacturing business seeking a Regional / Multi-Site Controller to take ownership of financial performance across multiple operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role, combining core accounting, cost control, and operational finance, with strong visibility to senior leadership and direct impact on business performance.

The Role

You will act as a true finance business partner to operations, driving visibility across cost, performance, and profitability while ensuring strong financial control and reporting across sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of multi-site financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
  • Full responsibility for month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
  • Lead cost accounting and standard costing, including cost rolls and margin analysis
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, and leadership to improve financial performance
  • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
  • Deliver weekly and monthly reporting to leadership and board-level stakeholders
  • Drive process improvement initiatives across finance and operations
  • Support audits, tax filings, and external reporting requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong cost accounting and operational finance experience
  • Experience working in a privately held / PE-backed business
  • Exposure to ERP systems (any major ERP - not system-specific)
  • Proven ability to support multiple sites or business units
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insight
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
