Platform Architect - Leeds (Hybrid)
£55,000 - £70,000 + Benefits

We're working with a growing organisation undergoing a significant infrastructure transformation, and they're looking to bring in a Platform Architect to take ownership of their virtualisation and data centre strategy.

This role will play a key part in designing and delivering a consolidated, scalable platform, bringing together multiple environments into a centralised estate.

The Role:
* Lead the design and architecture of VMware environments across multiple sites
* Drive consolidation and migration of existing infrastructure into a central platform
* Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to shape technical direction
* Ensure scalability, performance and security across the environment
* Support delivery teams through implementation phases

Key Skills & Experience:
* Strong VMware experience (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi)
* Experience in architecture / design-led roles
* Proven background in infrastructure migrations or consolidation projects
* Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)
* Exposure to NSX or software-defined networking is advantageous

Desirable:
* Experience within multi-site or complex environments
* Knowledge of hybrid/cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
* Previous involvement in large-scale transformation projects
