Position Title: Senior Software Engineer - Agentic AI

With a global engineering footprint across North America and Asia, the organization partners with large-scale manufacturing environments to drive measurable operational and scientific outcomes through AI.
This team is building a first-of-its-kind vertical AI platform focused on scientific and industrial workflows. The platform powers autonomous AI agents capable of designing experiments, optimizing complex processes, and accelerating discovery. This role will lead the architecture, scaling, and productionization of agentic systems at the core of the platform.
Architect and scale multi-agent frameworks that integrate with real-world data sources and production microservices, enabling agents to plan, coordinate, and execute complex workflows.
Partner with data engineering teams to design pipelines, data models, and APIs that allow agents to reason over live and historical enterprise data.
Own end-to-end delivery of agentic systems from prototype to production, including API design (FastAPI or gRPC), observability, testing, CI/CD, and containerized deployment.
Rapidly build proof-of-concept agent workflows and harden them into scalable, monitored microservices.
Drive innovation by combining autonomous AI techniques with robust software and data systems, influencing both product direction and technical strategy.
7+ years of software development experience, including 3+ years working with AI/ML systems.
Demonstrated experience designing and scaling production-grade services with strong testing, CI/CD, and observability practices.
Hands-on experience with data modeling, relational and in-memory databases, and vector storage systems.
2+ years building or deploying autonomous or multi-agent systems using modern agent frameworks.
Strong experience working with large language models and prompt engineering best practices.
Proven ability to deploy and operate microservices on major cloud platforms using Docker and Kubernetes.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional engineering and research teams.
Experience optimizing GPU inference or high-performance model serving is a strong plus.
