Structured Cabling Superintendent
We are currently seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Superintendent to support large-scale mission critical and industrial construction projects across the U.S. This individual will play a key role in leading field operations, driving production, managing schedules, and overseeing self-perform crews in fast-paced project environments.
This is a traveling position with a rotational schedule and strong compensation/benefits package.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage self-perform field crews on structured cabling and low voltage construction projects
* Oversee daily field operations, manpower planning, production tracking, and project execution
* Develop and maintain project schedules, lookaheads, and recovery plans
* Coordinate with project management, engineering, QA/QC, and safety teams to ensure smooth execution
* Supervise and develop foremen, assistant superintendents, and field personnel
* Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within quality expectations
* Manage material flow, site logistics, inspections, and field coordination activities
* Lead site meetings, planning sessions, and daily coordination efforts
* Review drawings and construction documents for constructability and sequencing
* Maintain strong communication across all levels of the project team
Qualifications:
* 5+ years of Superintendent experience within structured cabling, low voltage, mission critical, or industrial construction environments
* MUST have true self-perform experience managing direct craft labor and field crews
* Experience owning schedules, lookaheads, manpower planning, and field production
* Background leading crews in fast-paced construction environments
* Experience developing and mentoring foremen and field leadership teams
* Strong understanding of structured cabling systems, fiber optics, telecom/network infrastructure, and low voltage installations
* Mission critical/data center experience strongly preferred
* Ability to travel full-time on a rotational schedule
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits:
* Base salary up to ~$160k depending on experience
