Division Manager - Site / Civil Engineering

A well-established, multi-discipline engineering firm is seeking an experienced Division Manager - Site/Civil to lead its Site/Civil team and oversee complex land development projects across private and public markets in Central Florida.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role ideal for a Florida-licensed PE who enjoys balancing people leadership, client engagement, and technical oversight while helping grow and shape a regional practice.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of engineers and designers

• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and quality control

• Support the development of junior and mid-level staff

Client & Project Leadership

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships

• Manage all aspects of project delivery from proposal through completion

• Prepare budgets, proposals, and assist with RFQs

• Present to clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies as needed

Technical & Design Oversight

• Oversee site development and land development design including:

  • Plan preparation and grading

  • Permitting (FDOT, Water Management Districts, local agencies)

  • Report writing and technical documentation

• Contribute to stormwater management design:

  • Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) modeling

  • Erosion & Sediment Control (E&SC) planning

Regulatory Coordination

• Interface directly with regulatory and permitting agencies

• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards
