SUPERINTENDENT - COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION (RETAIL)

A well-established commercial general contractor is hiring an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations across retail-focused construction projects in the Tampa and Sarasota markets.

This role is ideal for a Superintendent who thrives on site leadership, understands the pace and precision of retail construction, and takes pride in delivering clean, on-time projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead all on-site construction activities from start to finish

• Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, deliveries, and schedules

• Enforce safety, quality, and production standards

• Read and interpret plans, specs, and schedules

• Maintain daily logs, schedules, and site documentation

• Work closely with Project Managers to drive schedule and budget

• Represent the company professionally with owners, inspectors, and vendors

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial GC

• Retail construction experience strongly preferred

• Strong knowledge of ground-up and interior build-out projects

• Ability to manage multiple trades and fast-paced schedules

• OSHA knowledge and strong safety mindset

• Strong communication and leadership skills
