We're hiring a Recruitment Consultant to support General Contractors across Commercial and Civil construction throughout Florida and the Southeast. This role is hands-on, market-facing, and delivery-driven - working closely with GC clients to place critical field and leadership talent across active projects.
You'll own relationships with contractors ranging from regional builders to large ENR firms, supporting hiring needs across ground-up commercial, infrastructure, utilities, site development, and public works projects.
This is a 360° recruitment role with real autonomy, warm client access, and a clear path to progression in a growing Tampa construction market.
Client & Market Development
Build and manage relationships with General Contractors across commercial and civil construction
Act as a trusted hiring partner to Project Executives, Operations Managers, and Construction Managers
Understand project pipelines, staffing forecasts, and upcoming work
Identify new business opportunities within existing GC accounts
Candidate Delivery
Source, qualify, and place:
Superintendents (General, Civil, Utility, Concrete, Site)
Project Managers
Project Executives (PX)
Survey Crew Chiefs, Survey Managers, and related survey professionals
Run full candidate lifecycle: sourcing → interviewing → offer → close
Match candidates to project type, scope, and GC culture (not just resumes)
Recruitment Execution
Use LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, market mapping, and proactive outreach
Maintain strong candidate pipelines for repeat and urgent hires
Deliver high-quality shortlists with speed and accuracy
Manage offers, counteroffers, and close processes
Market Intelligence
Stay close to Tampa & Florida construction trends
Advise clients on salary benchmarks, availability, and competitor activity
Track contractor movement, new projects, and market shifts
Required
2-5+ years experience in recruitment (construction preferred)
Strong understanding of General Contracting environments
Confidence speaking with senior construction leaders
Proven ability to source passive construction talent
Comfortable running a full 360 recruitment desk
Nice to Have
Experience recruiting Superintendents, PMs, PXs, or Survey professionals
Florida or Southeast construction market exposure
Background in civil, infrastructure, or commercial construction staffing
Tampa is one of the fastest-growing construction markets in the US
Live, warm GC client base - not a cold-start desk
