Construction Manager - Transmission

Position Overview
We are seeking a Transmission Line Construction Manager / Coordinator with strong hands-on experience in the construction of high-voltage transmission lines. This role will primarily coordinate multiple active transmission line projects remotely while traveling to project sites across Texas when needed to support field teams, resolve issues, and ensure projects stay on schedule.

This position requires someone who has progressed through the field and understands transmission construction from the ground up. Candidates must have prior hands-on experience building transmission lines and working directly with tools in the field. Experience as a Journeyman Electrician, Lineman, or Electrical Foreman on transmission line projects is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee multiple transmission line construction projects across Texas

• Work closely with field supervisors, foremen, and crews to ensure safe and efficient execution of work

• Monitor project schedules, progress, and field productivity across multiple sites

• Travel to project locations when necessary to support construction teams and resolve field challenges

• Assist with project planning, logistics, and coordination between field crews and management teams

• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications

• Provide guidance and support to field leadership based on prior hands-on transmission construction experience

• Communicate regularly with internal leadership regarding project updates, risks, and schedule performance

• Help identify and resolve construction issues related to materials, equipment, or field execution

Required Qualifications

• Prior hands-on experience constructing high-voltage transmission lines

• Background working directly in the field using tools and performing transmission line construction tasks

• Experience as a Journeyman Electrician, Journeyman Lineman, Electrical Foreman, or similar field leadership role on transmission line projects

• Strong understanding of transmission line construction methods, materials, and field operations

• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and support field teams remotely

• Willingness to travel to project sites across Texas when needed

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience overseeing multiple transmission projects simultaneously

• Background coordinating field operations, schedules, and crews across multiple job sites

• Familiarity with utility or EPC transmission construction environments
