Director of IT (Epicor ERP) - Jersey City

A growing manufacturing organization is seeking a Director of IT with strong Epicor ERP experience to lead technology strategy and oversee the continued development of the company's Epicor ERP (E10 / Kinetic) environment.

This role will be responsible for aligning IT systems with business objectives while ensuring the stability, performance, and ongoing improvement of the organization's enterprise technology landscape.

The ideal candidate will bring both hands-on Epicor expertise and strategic IT leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the organization's IT strategy, infrastructure, and enterprise systems

• Oversee and optimize the Epicor ERP (E10 / Kinetic) platform across the business

• Partner with executive leadership to align technology initiatives with operational goals

• Manage IT teams responsible for ERP, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business systems

• Drive ERP enhancements, upgrades, and system integrations

• Support manufacturing operations through effective use of production, supply chain, and financial systems

• Ensure system security, data integrity, and IT governance

• Manage relationships with ERP vendors, technology partners, and external consultants

Requirements

• 8+ years of IT leadership experience within a manufacturing organization

• Strong experience managing or supporting Epicor ERP (E10 or Kinetic)

• Proven experience leading ERP strategy, implementations, or major upgrades

• Background managing IT teams and enterprise systems

• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and ERP processes

• Experience working cross-functionally with operations, finance, and executive leadership

Nice to Have

• Experience with Epicor Kinetic cloud or modernization initiatives

• Knowledge of ERP integrations, APIs, and data architecture

• Exposure to business intelligence platforms (Power BI, SQL reporting)

• Experience leading digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing
