Overview

A leading EPC organization in the renewable energy sector is seeking a Senior Solar Commissioning Superintendent (Electrical) to join their high-performing Solar Operations team.

This position is focused on utility-scale solar commissioning and requires a strong field leader who can drive performance, uphold safety standards, and lead teams through complex electrical scopes on large-scale projects.


What We're Looking For

  • Utility-scale solar commissioning experience (5-10+ years preferred)
  • Proven background as a Superintendent or Site Leader on large electrical construction projects
  • Strong leadership skills with a team-first mindset and high standards
  • Experience managing self-perform crews and subcontractors
  • Solid tenure demonstrating reliability and career progression
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, field-based environments

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical commissioning activities across utility-scale solar projects
  • Oversee installation, testing, and energization of electrical systems (HV/MV preferred)
  • Coordinate daily site operations and ensure alignment with project schedules
  • Manage subcontractors and field crews to ensure productivity and quality execution
  • Review drawings, specifications, and commissioning plans
  • Support testing and validation of electrical systems and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
  • Mentor field personnel and support team development

Travel & Project Details

  • Rotation schedule: 3 weeks on / 5 days off
  • Projects located across the U.S.
  • Initial assignment likely in California
